  • Low Margins: Our margins per camera are low, as we are convinced that every project or product starts with the order of a single camera. By providing honest prices, we believe in building sustainable relationships with our customers. As a result we create a win-win situation for both parties as you receive low-priced but high-quality pieces and we gain a new customer. Besides, from 200 pieces on, it is possible for us to offer a customer specific price.
  • Low Overhead: GeT Cameras can operate on low overhead costs, where costs on every front are minimized and process automation is maximized.
  • Economy of scale: Daheng Imaging is the largest machine vision manufacturer in Asia, where electrical components are lower priced to buy in bulk. Also, our healthy trade relations with sensor manufacturers combined with low-priced components result into a low purchase price.

Daheng Imaging has a proven track record of product life cycle management. Every vision camera is designed to be available for purchase at least 7 years after the introduction of the camera.

Nevertheless, when a camera reaches its’ End of Life (EOL), we notify customers that bought this specific camera in the last two years and provide a last-time buy option. For more information check our article on product lifecycle management in our knowledge center.

Daheng Imaging has close business relationships with corporate companies like Bosch, Siemens and Western Digital.

We only sell our products to business customers (B2B). This means that the right of withdrawal does not apply to the agreement. We therefore express that we exclude   the right of withdrawal. Products cannot be returned. Only defective products are eligible for return, after you receive our written permission. In that case, the provisions of article 14 of our general terms and conditions apply.

We charge a fixed handling fee regardless of the size of the order. When ordering in larger quantities you benefit from a greater price advantage.

We offer a 3-year warranty on all of our industrial cameras, this is because we believe in the quality of our products. Every camera undergoes rigorous testing before it leaves the factory. First, the vision camera is submitted to a 7-day long test, the camera is exposed to extreme hot and cold temperatures. The second and final test is a 72-hour durability examination.

A standard 1-year warranty applies on all other products.

Product Selection

Our industrial cameras can be used in a variety of applications: agriculture, logistics, factory automation systems, robotics, medical areas and many more. Thanks to our large camera portfolio, we have the right product for every application. If you wish to be consulted in choosing a camera, feel free to use our contact page.

We offer industrial cameras with the following interfaces: USB3, GigE, 5GigE and 10GigE.

The USB3.0 camera interface is one of the fastest interfaces with a high bandwidth. This makes it ideal for high resolution and high-speed imaging. The standard cable length is limited to 4.6 meters however, we offer various Active Highflex USB3 cables to cover a length of 30, 40 or even 50 meter between your USB3 camera and pc. More information about the USB3 Vision camera protocol is available in our blog.

The GigE camera interface is often used in machine vision applications, which require longer cable lengths. We offer GigE cameras with PoE (Power over Ethernet) as well as GigE cameras without PoE. Bandwidth is average (between USB2.0 and USB3.0). This makes it ideal for most machine vision applications. We offer 30MP GigE cameras with low framerates as well as low-resolution cameras with high framerates (> 300fps) both options are available with a GigE interface.

The 5GigE camera interface has higher bandwidth while keeping the advantages of a longer cable that a standard GigE camera has to offer. It covers both a high resolution and/or high speed imaging and the option of a cable length reaching up to 100 meters. The 5GigE cameras are available with the option of with PoE or without PoE.

The 10GigE camera interface offers the possibility to have both a high resolution and high speed imaging with the advantages of a standard GigE camera interface. The 10GigE cameras are 10x faster than regular GigE cameras.

The I/O port of a camera is used when you want to trigger a camera by hardware. We always advise you to buy a camera with I/O port. Even if you do not have any current plans to use it, you might need it in the future. Vision cameras without I/O port are cheaper, this is due to lower material costs. However, we do not have these cameras available on our local Express stock, which means that the delivery time might be longer. All cameras with a product number ending on”-L” , do not have an I/O port.

When selecting a lens, it is important to consider the requirements of the application.

- C-mount lenses: When using a machine vision application where a high image quality and cost effective solution is required, we recommend using one of our c-mount lenses. The benefits of a c-mount lens include: adjustable aperture / iris and focus, screws to fix the iris and focus, fast and simple assembly and a high light sensitivity.

- M12 lenses: If you are developing a device, where cost and dimensions are of importance, an M12 lens could offer a suitable solution. The total length of a camera with an M12 lens is relatively shorter in comparison to other lenses. When considering using an M12 lens in your application,  it is advised to buy one of our C-mount cameras in combination with our C-mount to M12-mount adapter. M12 lenses are used for the smaller sensor size cameras, for example cameras with a 1/3”, 1/2.5”, 1/2.3’, 1/2” or 1/1.8” sensor.

Please reach to use if you would like to know more about Telecentric lenses, AFZ & Varifocal lenses, F-mount lenses, M42 lenses, SWIR lenses and microscope lenses.

An overview of the lens resolution (resolving power) of our C-mount lenses can be found on our Downloads page. To calculate the appropriate focal length or magnification for your industrial camera, contact us for support or make use of our Lens calculator page.

We feature a variety of cameras each offering a different resolution. The rolling shutter cameras that we currently offer go up to 20 megapixels. The highest resolution global shutter USB3 camera is 44.7MP and for (10)GigE global shutter it is 65MP.

Most of our machine vision cameras have a high quality, light sensitive Sony IMX sensor. As an exclusive distributor of Daheng Imaging in many regions, we benefit from their close business relationship with Sony. This is one of the many reasons that we can offer these cameras for the lowest prices and with quickest delivery times/shortest lead times. Furthermore we offer various industrial cameras with Gpixel and Onsemi sensors.

In general, a rolling-shutter camera is less expensive than a global-shutter camera. When either the camera or object is moving while the image is being taken, a global shutter is advised. With a global shutter camera, (fast) moving objects can be captured without blur in the image. A rolling shutter camera is ideal for stationary vision applications. In-depth information is featured in our Rolling Vs. Global shutter article in our Knowledge Center.

Technical Questions

Many ARM embedded platforms have an USB3 or GigE ethernet port. Our USB3 and GigE Vision Cameras work with these ARM embedded platforms.

The following ARM platforms were extensively tested with USB3.0 and GigE cameras by Daheng Imaging:

  • NVIDIA Jetson TX1/TX2
  • NVIDIA Tegra TK1
  • Toradex Apalis TK1 on Ixora Carrier Board
  • Raspberry Pi 4

Other commonly used embedded boards are: Odroid XU4, NanoPi M4, NVIDIA Jetson Nano and Firefly.

Check out or Knowledge Center for detailed installation guides.

User manuals, as well as the free SDK can be found on our download page.

Our cameras are developed to work in harsh, industrial environments. Therefore the cameras are tested on shock and vibration according to the leading standards in the market. Here is the detailed specification for these shock and vibration tests:

Parameter of vibration according to the standard GBT2423.11-1997:

    • oscillation frequency: f1-f2 10Hz~1KHz
    • amplitude: 0.75mm
    • Acceleration Spectral Density: 0.1 g²/Hz
    • Total root mean square acceleration: 10g
    • Random Vibration Time: 1h/per direction

Parameter of shock according to the standard GBT2423.5-1995:

    • shock direction: X Y Z Three Axis Direction(Positive and Negative)
    • shock time: 18 times(3 times per direction)
